People with a Lap-Band® may not realize that it is a device, which over time may cause damage. In some cases, a Lap-Band® may need removal. For any patients that are having issues with reflux or digestion we offer Lap-Band® removal surgery.
Our bariatric surgeon does not perform Lap-Band® insertions but does provide management of the Lap-Band®. We do provide metabolic surgeries such as the sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass. Because we have so many patients that had the Lap-Band® procedure years ago, we do manage the Lap-Band®.
